Review of Murder Party (2007) by Ben A — 14 Aug 2008
First, Josh Glasgow's review is dead on. I'll just add that, apart from the heaps of satire in this film, the violence is handled in a rather unique way for a film that clearly revels in its gore.
Due to the amount of time invested in getting to know many different characters (who are actually all pretty distinct, if they are supposed to be parodies), many of the murders have an almost tragic feel to them which left me more disturbed than I normally would be watching a low budget horror-comedy.
