Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Yash B — 19 Nov 2017

I don't think this is a particularly bad movie, I just feel it was a fairly disappointing one. I am a big fan of murder mysteries and I really liked the cast in this movie. I think all of the performances were fine, even though some of them were a bit over the top.

I think the characters weren't all that fleshed out and the movie has consistent pacing issues. Some moments kept my interest and others dragged. I will admit I wasn't able to guess who the culprit was, so in that regard, the movie succeeded.

I also felt the movie was directed well and visually great to look at it. I would really like to see this become a franchise and hopefully improve with future entries. This movie is decent, but it isn't without its flaws.
