Great story, well directed and a fantastic performance from Kenneth Branagh. Saw this with my husband and teenage kids and we all enjoyed it. Don't let the snobby reviewers detract you from watching the film.
It stands alone and apart from the original. Besides how else do we get to watch a classic unless it gets remade through the eyes of another artist.
