Just saw it for the second time! I don't agree with the majority of the reviewers. It was beautifully shot and kept the the bones of the classic story. The cinematic elements lent themselves to the story and built the suspense masterfully.
This genere is not for everyone,and quite frankly if you don't like it, you might not be "nerdy" enough for this movie. But for all of us PBS loving , classics reading movie goers, this is a movie that you will enjoy and cherish.
