Review of Murder on the Orient Express (1974) by Ben L — 27 Aug 2008
A superb murder mystery. It's occasionally a little bizarre, but the mystery itself is so confusing, yet so clever, that it makes the movie. There are other high points too, like Albert Finney's enjoyably weird performance as the detective Hercule Poirot, and the lush period costumes and sets.
Best enjoyed with frequent pauses to discuss who you think the murderer is. Betcha can't guess.
