Review of Murder on the Orient Express (1974) by Nick — 16 Aug 2008
Insipid lighting in some cases. Best feel for going on a train journey that I've seen in a film - when the train prepares and pulls away in the beginning. Poirot reads a newspaper with 23 on in the beginning and solve the chaos via the numbers 12 (=24), and so brings order (24) from the chaos.
I prefer the newer stylised Poirot of Suchet.
