Review of Murder in the First (1995) by Dean A — 01 Jul 2006
My favourite Bacon role, and I love a good bacon roll... he he. He was soo good. Keeping up a crazy accent and a mental affliction, as well as giving a great physical performance aswell. He was very impressive.
The film on the whole though I found to be a bit lackluster. Gary Oldman was good, and Slater was a cheerful chap - this being my first dose of christianity, I found him to be rather pleasant, but not an overwhelming acting force.
It was an emotional film, but not quite powerful enough to move myself. The fact that it is best on real events was a major boost. Just watch it for all the great Kev scenes. The rest might bore you a little.
