Review of Murder in the First (1995) by James H — 07 May 2007
It's certainly a well made film technicaly. The sets, wardrobe, cinematography and score are all top notch. It tends to be melodramatic however. Kevin Bacon does a fine job in his role, although his character can be a bit extreme.
Nice period detail. It's intent, I am sure, was to have a much greater impact than it ends up having.
