I have always loved this movie... but don't let it fool you. Although it states that it was inspired by true events... the screenplay is pretty much fiction. Watch the film and then Google Henri Young.
.. see for yourself. Even still... I love this film. The cast is amazing and in my opinion it is one of the best films that Slater and Bacon have done to date. It is also beautifully shot and the sets are amazing.
It's far from the truth... but I will always love this film.
