Review of Murder by Numbers (2002) by Jake D — 03 Nov 2007
Murder by Numbers is a tepid mainstream thriller with a fairly good performance from Bullock in a slightly been there done that type damaged cop role. Decent enough despite these faults and it educates about forensics which is interesting.
Plot involves two bored, intelligent youths that plan a murder for the leisure, from the beginning they are very cocky about not being caught but what they don?t know is that Sandra Bullock is a ?good cop? and will do her best to unravel the cover-up.
It?s fair yet imperfect and has the archetype of Hollywood endings.
