Half of the movie is devoted to exploring the twisted mind sof two teenage serial killers played by Ryan Gosling and Michael Pitt. The other half is devoted to exploring the damaged mind of a bitchy cop played by Sandra Bullock.
One is excellent. the other is horrible. Three guesses which is which, and the first two don't count. However, despite this flaw, the overall plot is fairly good, even if the dialogue falls flat, and the good parts make the bad ones tolerable.
