Review of Murder by Decree (1979) by Solo M — 27 Oct 2007
I still remember seeing this on CBC one Sunday when I was a kid. I'm fascinated with Victorian London settings and this movie, which pits Sherlock Holmes against Jack The Ripper, portrays a foggy, claustrophobic Victorian London like few others.
It's creepy and well acted on all levels, though probably not for everybody.
