It has all the hallmarks of a classic Muppet movie: catchy songs, funny sight gags, more celebrity cameos than you'll ever notice. While this was enjoyable, something was missing that held it back for me.
Maybe it was the lack of a strong human lead (like Jason Segel in the last film). Maybe it's because Kermit is separated from the Muppets for most of the film.
