Review of Muppets Most Wanted (2014) by Alicia S — 17 Jul 2014
Was the script as good as "The Muppets?" No, but Brett McKenzie's original songs are just as good, if not better, than that film, which really makes the movie for me. The jokes come easily without trying too hard (with the exception of Tina Fey's Russian-esque prison guard maybe), and you can't help but smile for nearly the entire runtime.
The film is loaded with cameos, but they're skillyfully done as a nod to older audiences, and you're not beaten over the head with them (Christoph Waltz waltzing! Brilliant!). Overall, this film is worth watching no matter how old you are, and I'm sure I'll be giving it repeat viewings.
