Review of Muppets Most Wanted (2014) by Simon D — 18 Sep 2014

One of the more entertaining muppet movies. I wasn't looking forward to Gervais's performance, he is a very funny and clever bloke but I am not such a big fan of his hollywood career. In this his ego was supressed by the role and his humour didn't get an outlet so it was a bit of a pointless role for him, but it makes him a bit more famous I suppose.

There are so many other cameos in this film, nice to see a strong flight of the conchords link with Jermaine as a Russian gulag king and Brett doing the music. The story is not too bad either, in comparison to previous muppet movies that is.
