Review of Muppets from Space (1999) by Paul H — 10 Feb 2012
After a three year movie drought and clearly the number one most asked Muppet fan question is finally answered, "What kind of creature is Gonzo?" The Muppets are back or are they? As a die-hard Muppet fan I expected better from this 82 min film that should have gone straight to video.
It was nothing like the previous films: no room for musical numbers, lesser known celebrity cameos, it revolved way too much around Gonzo and it seems like the original Muppet cast all put together barely had more than a few lines and/or parts each.
If they ever make another Muppets movie (which I'm glad they did) it can't get any worse than this one...
