Robert Louis Stevenson's classic pirate novel make a suprisingly great backdrop for the Muppets' signature brand of inspired silliness and catchy musical numbers. The clever rapid-fire humor, mostly from the Muppets themselves but also from the human cast (most notably Tim Curry as Long John Silver), make this film a fun ride from start to finish.
