Very catchy songs, rarely resorts to old comedy sight-gags (but very effective when it does). Hilarious, with probably the highest production value of any Muppet film. Uproarius, probably the funniest of all the Muppet movies, and yet simultaneously the darkest and meanest. Brian Henson and the writing crew didn't really shy away from the piratey aspects, plunder and betrayal and murder. No sugar coating, and yet keeping a G rating? Astounding.
Fantastic, no matter who you are.
