Review of Muppet Treasure Island (1996) by Gavin P — 04 Nov 2013

Pretty faithful adaption of Long John Silver/the hidden pirate treasure, with some funny Muppet moments throughout. Probably more songs than usual/necessary, and it's pretty short - just 90min, but Tim Curry's good, even if Billy Connolly isn't in it enough.

And neither are Kermit or Piggy, actually - it's mostly Gonzo & Rizzo, which isn't a bad thing, I guess. The funniest parts, though, come courtesy of the stupid goat!
