Review of Muppet Treasure Island (1996) by Matthew D — 21 Jun 2012
An upbeat children's musical starring the muppets in most roles, but the villian and Hero remain human. Solid gags make this funny, and music makes it upbeat. The writing is not strong, but the loyalness of the storyline to Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island novel is enough to entertain for the readers of the original story.
