Review of Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003) by Suveera A — 06 Feb 2008
One of the BEST modern Bollywood films in the last decade...or possibly in the whole history! The buddy friendship between Sunjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi is just the backdrop to an incredible attachment of relationships and human bonding all shared by the characters in such humanity.
Warm and humourous, I personally most especially loved The Jaadu Ki Jaafee (Priceless Hug) because I've always believed in giviing hugs to all my loved ones forever more!!! This is also the film that made me seriously pay attention to Sanjay Dutt and become his fan at the same time - he was stupendous and it was such a beautiful treat to see him share the screen with his real-life father Sunil Dutt, who tragically passed away sometime later and made this the first-and-only Dutt father-son duo film.
The audience should enjoy this great film for what it truly is: A super-hit classic!!!
