Review of Munich (2005) by Sam F — 25 Jan 2013
Using the '72 Olympic hostage situation as a starting point, this revenge movie directed by Spielberg moves slowly, bogged down by philosophical questions and ideological contrasts of the Israelis and Palestinians.
Though the revenge motif can be understood, can it be condoned? Well acted and a nice introduction for me to Marie-Josée Croze in a minimal role. Overlong and too depressing for me.
