Review of Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008) by Lubaina K — 02 Sep 2008

This affect of the bomb blasts brings out so many facets of human nature, some of which only a mumbaikar can experience. How the life of each of the characters changes by the blast, made me realize that indirectly so many incidents influence our thoughts and our actions.

Top notch direction and amazing acting. The icing on the cake is how the movie ends, that what makes this city great is that there is peace and order even in the chaos. The famous song, 'yeh hain bombay meri jaan' which plays with the titles at the end, only reaffirms this - it is truly a city that never sleeps!! It made me miss my city!
