Review of Mum & Dad (2008) by Sam G — 27 Dec 2008
I found this a very affective low budget horror movie. It's not that pleasant to watch, thats just how horror should be in my opinion. It's very dark, extremely violent and creepy as hell. It's loosely based on the Fred and Rose West case.
After missing the final bus home, young Polish airport cleaner Lena is invited back to her co-worker Birdie's family home. One swift injection later and she wakes up tied up and invited to join the family and become the next 'Mummies Girl',or face Dad,who has just finished off the last unsuccessful family member.
This was really scary, and I loved it. It's a raw, unsettling, sick and perverse horror movie, and i'm sure if your a fan of a good disturbing horror, you will get a kick out of this.
