Review of Mum & Dad (2008) by Hinesh P — 03 Jan 2009
Superior low budget British torture horror, offering a twist on the recent vogue for thrillers in which Western Europeans are dismembered in former Communist Bloc countries. Here it is a Polish immigrant to the UK who seeks deliverance from the locals.
Performances are all good, particularly Olga Fedori's stoic heroine and overall it's a well made, unassuming little shocker.
