Review of Mulholland Drive (2001) by Abdul M — 10 Jun 2012
Going into a David Lynch film you know reality is going to turned sideways and upside-down and he follows that same pattern in this movie. It is puzzling and mystifying because he doesn't explain much of anything, but the very fact that I must go and seek the meaning of the film means he railed to explain himself.
I like the tension he generates, the suspense is awsome and the relationship between the two women is tittilating as are the other characters in the story, but once again I am left somewhat dissapointed with Mr.
Lynch, bizarre and strange, but please make some connection for us. So for that being said I gave this movie a C.
