Breathtaking masterpiece from the absolute master of surreal and abstract cinema. It doesn't always work - my main concerns are the moments where it's obvious that this was a T.V. Pilot to Feature-length movie conversion, hence most of the excellent peripheral characters only get about 4 minutes of screen time.

Bogus television networks really dropped the ball here by denying Lynch what would certainly have been a worthy television follow-up to Twin Peaks.
