Review of Mulholland Drive (2001) by Drew B — 24 Oct 2014
I've seen quite a lot of confusing films that have similar plot-lines and situations. However, Mulholland Drive is a fascinating and eerie film that completely bends away from anything that you could ever think about.
The film follows an optimistic woman who comes to Hollywood seeking fame. At the same time, an amnesiac woman seeks for help, and the two women befriend each other and go on a mysterious quest. What makes this film so wonderful, is its beautiful direction from David Lynch, and how it is presented in a dreamlike way.
Mulholland Drive is a thriller at its best, and captures the true meanings of identity, and fear.
