Review of Mulholland Drive (2001) by Alec L — 25 Jan 2016
What is there to say about Mulholland Drive? Is it that its one of the most captivating and striking films I've ever seen? David Lynch weaves a tale that is unhinging, that will take the viewer into a place that they'd rather not be.
My personal opinion is that this film is simply about being confronted by the gross nature of mass media or capitalism or sex or the American Dream. Honestly whatever. This movie destroyed me. Don't watch if you need narrative structure or thematic soundness.
