Review of Mulan II (2004) by Marian K — 18 Jul 2009
It's nice to see an animated kids film address the problems that may arise after the "happily ever after" but it tends to slip into the sexism and subtle misogyny the first film did such an excellent job of working against and the characters who were amusing in the first film have been reduced to caricatures of such exaggeration (even considering the medium) that it's even difficult to laugh at them.
