Review of Mulan (2020) by Cstevie — 05 Dec 2020

So disappointing! I was so excited to see this because I loved the original but it barely stuck to the original story at all. The other live remakes of the Disney films have at least mainly stayed true to the original story with minor changes or additions but the new Mulan is basically a different story all together.

There’s virtually no humour in this version of which is a lot of what attracts the audience to the original Mulan film. They definitely shouldn’t have bothered remaking Mulan.
