Review of Mulan (1998) by Jackson S — 27 Nov 2013
Despite the great music, the whole movie takes a back seat to contractually obligated choices (Eddie Murphy's unsympathetic, heartless, and reason less character). Somewhere in here, there is a brilliant movie waiting to get out.
The best I could describe it is Disney's attempt of making their own studio ghibli film, and failing.
