The Verdict: 4.9 Stars/ 5 Stars.
Simply one of the best Disney films I have watched. I really loved how Disney showed feminism in a wholesome and non-insulting manner. Action packed and as realistic as it can be (as for the fable factor, that is), it keeps its bad-ass-ness while being funny, colorful and heartwarming. Still, it never fails to bring such wonderful music and animation. Though, sometimes it has forgivable plot stupidities, Mulan has made a good and unique direction to Disney films. And successfully converted cheesiness to romance, this is why this is one of my all-time childhood favorites until now.
