Review of Mudbound (2017) by Bill K — 23 Dec 2017
Deeply moving and full of insight into that horrific period of racism and bigotry in the deep south. Beyond that, its also a movie about forgiveness, mercy, generosity of spirit and love on the most profound level.
Mudbound is redolent of Steinbeck "Grapes..." but may be even better than that movie adaptation. If there was a flaw in this film - we couldn't find one.
