Mudbound is, by all means, a powerful story that goes a long way to show that love can overcome everything, It's touching on so many levels and in a way it is very informative and insightful and that's something that can be highly appreciated, both the acting and the plot are so rich and profound and it's just pure joy to bear witness to that, Mary J Blige especially is a delight to see, the amount of emotions she showcases is breathtaking, I'd say this film is a worthy contender for many Oscars especially in acting.
