Review of Mud (2013) by James K — 11 Jan 2014
An instant indie classic, 'Mud' manages to be an edge of your seat thrill as well as a touching coming of age drama renascent of films such as 'Stand by me'. McConaughey's performance is flawless but will be unfortunately overlooked by his performance in 'Dallas Buyers Club' which may reward the actor with his first academy award win.
Give it time and this film will become a cult classic and wander it's way to a more mainstream audience.
