A fantastic, slow burning coming of age film. Great performances all around, especially by Tye Sheridan as Ellis. Kid actors so often are disappointing, but he absolutely nails it. Wonderful cinematography, the shots of the open water are astounding.
In my top 5 movies for 2013.
