Review of Mud (2013) by Alejandro R — 18 Sep 2015
A really good story centered around a kind of coming of story for a 14-year old boy learning some important life lessions about love the hard way in his own experience paralleling the experience of people around him, which further solidifies what he's learning. No oversimplification here either, as the experiences and lessons are coming in a complex mature manner.
McConaughey delivers a great performance right from the start and the two young actors were excellent as well.
