While it did have its laugh-out-loud and original moments, Much Ado About Nothing's greatest achievement is making Shakespeare's words sounds modern and his world feel recognizable. There is plenty to praise here, but unfortunately most it involves feats behind the camera.
When compared to other modern romantic comedies, this (overly) lighthearted and entertaining adaptation does fall a little short.
