Review of Much Ado About Nothing (2013) by Corey J — 02 Jul 2013
I am incredibly amazed by the sheer beauty of the masterpiece Joss Whedon envisioned and was able to represent and portray to the audience it was presented to. What began as a"normal" romantic comedy, rapidly changed and quickened its pace, and had the unbelievable power of keeping you gripped and sucked into the characters and the plot that was unfolding.
I have never found the characters of a romantic comedy as like-able as the characters in this film. With the pace change came a sort of mockery of traditional movie direction, and Whedon was able to have more fun with this movie than I have ever seen any director have with any other.
When it stopped taking itself seriously, it left me floored laughing and my rib cages bruised. This movie was near-perfection. Basically, Joss Whedon does it again.
