Review of Much Ado About Nothing (2013) by Bradley K — 05 Oct 2013
Watching Much Ado About Nothing was like watching a bunch of people you really admire just hang out in someone's house for a couple hours, performing a totally charming semi-professional production of the bard all for your pleasure.
.. Wait, that's EXACTLY what this is and it's not without merit! Joss Whedon (who isn't exactly a stranger to witty, fast talking romance plots) works his magic here, employing a keen eye for style behind the camera.
The performances are good, with Acker, Fillion, Gregg and Denisof being obvious standouts. All in all, it's just a fun film. It's not going to change your life, but like all homemade treats, it was created with love.
