Review of Much Ado About Nothing (2013) by Nathan M — 13 Oct 2013
Funny, sweet, and full of life, Whedon's passion for Shakespeare and his friends is evident on screen in this adaptation. Proving that his mastery of story, pacing, and character, Whedon brings Shakespeare's words to life in a way that I haven't seen before.
As always, it takes a while to get in the rhythm of Shakespearean dialogue, but Whedon makes it easier than it could be. Once you're in time with the film, you'll have a great time, and might find yourself in love with these characters.
