Review of Much Ado About Nothing (2013) by Aaron F — 04 Nov 2013
Joss Whedon tweaks enough to make the play feel fresh--notably the interpretation that Beatrice and Benedick had had a relationship prior to the stage's events. But he also blends it with a nice level of underhandedness, experimentation, and classic screwball comedy.
It's definitely one of the most likable of the many Shakespeare adaptations.
