Review of Much Ado About Nothing (2013) by Aragorn K — 30 Jun 2014
The film flip-flops from the quality of a respectably-produced YouTube production to a passable low-budget film. While the acting is largely functional (and occasionally quite good, as in the case of Amy Acker), that of Alexis Denisof (Benedick) comes off particularly uneven.
No talent in this film, however, comes nigh to any one of the performances in Branagh's 1993 adaptation of the same play.
