Review of Much Ado About Nothing (1993) by Oki L — 25 Mar 2008
This is a Shakespearean masterpiece! Kenneth Branagh leaves Sir Laurence in the dust, and the fact that he has never won an Oscar demonstrates the extent to which the Academy really cares about art over industry.
And this has to be Michael Keaton's greatest comedic performance to date. The only blotch on this canvas is Keanu, and thankfully he has little screen time. Otherwise, this is quite possibly the best film rendition of Shakespeare ever!!
