Review of Much Ado About Nothing (1993) by Daniel B — 04 Jul 2008
I knew immediately this wasn't going to be exactly my cup of tea, but I tried to keep an open mind. Emma Thompson was amazing, like usual, though I wish I could say that about everyone. Michael Keaton must of thought this was a Beetlejuice sequel.
The story was much about nothing and I found I could care less about either of the main relationships going on in the movie. The poetic Shakespear kept me expecting more than the meaningless puff comedy it quickly became.
