Review of Much Ado About Nothing (1993) by Samuel S — 07 Dec 2008
Kenneth Branagh does an amazing job of successfully presenting a work of Shakespeare and making it watchable for those who could never get into or understand the man's work. Much Ado about Nothing naturally flows throughout its entire length and is filled with a caste of characters that all deserve Oscars for their performances except for Keanu Reeves.
That man is horrible at Old English and Kenneth Branagh should have known better. Not to mention that even when reciting Shakespeare Denzel Washington still appears as a total badass. This film will also having you laughing hysterically at parts which more than I can say about many modern comedies coming out today.
