Review of Much Ado About Nothing (1993) by Kent Y — 31 Mar 2010
Keanu Reeves' unpassionate and perhaps, abysmal acting as Don John literally killed off the film's potential as one of the best films of 1993 (that is, could have been nominated for Best Picture of 1993). No wonder we would say that he's one of the worst actors that we've seen in several of his films.
On the other hand, great overall cast, artistic direction, and execution makes this a great film to watch! I would say that its nearly perfect if it hadn't been for that lame decision to cast Reeves as the main villain.
