Review of Much Ado About Nothing (1993) by Daida V — 11 May 2010
Fantastic adaptation. Thankfully, Keanu Reeves was only in a few scenes, so we didn't have to put up with his terrible line readings for long (why was he wearing leather pants?). Kate Beckinsale and Robert Sean Leonard were kind of weak, but the rest of the cast gave wonderful performances, especially Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson.
I enjoyed Denzel and Michael Keaton as well. Some of the scenes dragged, but the good scenes were excellent and I am debating going back and watching them again.
