Review of Mrs. Winterbourne (1996) by Chrisanne S — 03 Jan 2009
MacLaine and Fraser are the only things worth anything in this film. It could have been easily cleaned up of all that unnecessary trash that is there. Lake seems incapable of not swearing every other sentence.
Say what you want, it shows a lack of intelligence, an inability to coherently express thoughts and a crassness that doesn't belong in a movie- especially where the leading man hardly swears at all.
And no, it doesn't show the difference in their bringing up. Good language costs nothing. It could have been avoided. And yes, this is a rant about swearing in what could have been a passably cute movie.
